Discover the wonders of the museum
The museum houses artistic and historical artefacts from the communities of Conza, Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi, Nusco, Bisaccia, Montemarano, Monteverde and Frigento.
It retains the welcoming, warm feeling typical of a “house museum” with the original layout of some rooms in the Bishop's Palace.
In fact, the furniture and furnishings of the period are still on display in the study, chapel and bedroom of the Bishop. Each diocese has its own exhibition room.
Interactive Educational Area
The spaces of the new display present furnishings, wooden artifacts, and liturgical textiles, organized by type. The Multimedia Area, created in 2025, tells the story through modern media. Visitors can explore several in-depth spaces dedicated to the dioceses once present in the area, to the liturgical heritage, and to religious feast days of popular devotion.
