Lake Laceno
The Laceno plateau, at an altitude of around 1,000 metres, is an outstanding natural area with a karst lake, a ski resort and an extensive, well-maintained network of footpaths; there are also many hotels and places to eat. Worth visiting are the Grotto of St William (the end point of Stage 4 of the Cammino di Guglielmo), the karst lake and the Caliendo caves (caving equipment required). Tourist facilities include the mountain trails, the riding stables and the chairlift up Monte Rajamagra.
